A practical steel storage shed with three fully clad walls and one long side left completely open, creating a row of accessible bays along the full length of the building. The back wall and both end walls are enclosed in Colorbond Trimdek sheeting, while the open front gives you unrestricted drive-in access at every bay — no clearance restrictions.
The enclosed end wall features a Steel-line roller door and a Larnec PA door, giving you a lockable entry point alongside the open-bay layout. This combination makes the shed ideal for machinery line-ups, covered storage, workshop shelter, or agricultural use where you need quick pull-in access from the front but also want a secure roller-door entry at one end.
The building delivers generous internal clearance for vehicles, tractors, boats, caravans, and bulky equipment. Portal frames are spaced at regular centres along the length, with heavy-duty C-section columns and rafters sized for the span. The enclosed sides provide solid weather protection from wind and rain, while the open front maintains airflow and keeps everything easily accessible.

Kit Components Matrix Steel will replace any components found to be faulty, incorrectly sized, or of incorrect quantity at the Seller’s expense, excluding the cost of labour to rectify. Any damage or discrepancy must be reported in writing within 7 days of delivery.

Assembly Information
This product is supplied as a pre-engineered steel kit for owner-builder assembly or professional installation. Upon production of your order, a detailed assembly guide specific to your kit will be generated and supplied with your delivery. This guide will contain accurate drawings, fixing details, and step-by-step instructions tailored to your exact build.

Q: What is included in the kit? A: All steel framing (columns, rafters, girts, purlins), roof and wall cladding, ridge cap, barge capping, gutters, downpipes (to ground level), roller door(s), and PA door. Slab, earthworks, stormwater connection, engineering drawings, council approvals, and installation are not included unless separately agreed.
Q: Is installation included? A: No. This is a kit-supply product. Matrix Steel can discuss installation options separately, subject to a site visit.
Q: What wind rating is this shed engineered for? A: Each shed is site-rated to your specific location using AS/NZS 1170 standards, including cyclonic and high-wind regions.
Q: Are the roller door sizes exact? A: Roller door sizes are approximate and the actual opening may be slightly less than the documented dimensions.
Q: Can I choose my own Colorbond colours? A: Yes. The full Colorbond colour range is available. Contact the team to customise your colour scheme.
Q: Are council approvals included? A: No. The customer is responsible for ensuring the building meets all council and statutory requirements before ordering.
Q: What’s the difference between the Medium and Double? A: The Medium is a single-bay-width shed (7.5 m wide × 12.28 m long) with one roller door. The Double is wider and significantly longer (8 m wide × 20.28 m long) with two roller doors, heavier framing, and roughly 76% more floor area.
